This feature film, broadcast in Japan since December 17, directly follows the first three seasons of the eponymous animated series, available in France in VOSTFR and VF on Crunchyroll.
The project is directed by Hatakeyama Mamoru at animation studio A-1 Pictures. Yasuhiro Nakanishi signs the script composition while Yuko Yahiro is credited for the character design. Hiroshi Yako is directing the animation and Kuribayashi Yuki is doing the 3D. Wakabayashi Risa holds the position of artistic director and Kei Haneoka composes the music.
Masayuki Suzuki, an iconic singer who has performed the various famous openings of the series, performs the song ” Love is Show ft. Reni Takagi ” for the film’s opening song. Singer Airi Suzuki, also known for her work on the anime’s credits, performs the title ” heart notes ” for the ending song. Finally, the musician Halca is credited for the insert song entitled “ Romantic Manifesto ”.
As a reminder, the anime Kaguya-sama: Love is War is adapted from the manga Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai, written and drawn by Aka Akasaka, pre-published in Japan between May 2015 and November 2022 by the publisher Shueisha for a total of 28 volumes. connected. The French version of the manga has been published by Pika since March 2021, with 12 volumes available to date and the thirteenth volume expected on January 18.
