The release date of the anime Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 3, made by the animation studio TMS Entertainment, is scheduled for July 2023 in Japan.

Shinya Une is directing this sequel at the animation studio TMS Entertainment. He, therefore, replaces Koga Kazuomi, who held the position of director during season 2. The rest of the production team remains mainly unchanged, with the return of Mitsutaka Hirota for the script composition. Kanna Hirayama is credited as the character designer and the music is composed by Hyadain. Akiba Minoru serves as artistic director and Hajime Takakuwa as sound director.

More determined than ever to realize her dream of becoming an actress so she could play in front of her grandmother, Mizuhara seemed hopeless until Kazuya came up with an idea as clever as it was unexpected: directing her own film using crowdfunding!
If time is running out more than ever, the duo’s desire to go through with the project seems flawless, and Kazuya is already 100% immersed in his background research for the production of the short film.
On Ruka’s, Mami’s, and Sumi’s side, life goes on, and each of them continues to pursue her personal goal.
While Ruka tries her best to become Kazuya’s real girlfriend, Mami tries to put a stop to her and has even started to investigate her family on the sly. As for Sumi, the young woman perseveres in her fight against her shyness!
What is certain is that Kazuya is far from having finished with his harem, which, again and again, is about to show him all the colors!
