It is via the opening of an official site for the project that we discover this Sunday the announcement of an anime adaptation of the light novel Ishura Light.
A first trailer and two promotional posters were unveiled for the occasion. However, the release date of the series, its animation studio, as well as its production team, have not been specified at this time.
As for the artistic distribution, two first actors were presented:
- Yuki Kaji (Eren Jäger dans Shingeki no Kyojin), dans le rôle de Soujiro
- Reina Ueda (Ruri in Dr. STONE), as Yuno
For your information, this anime is adapted from a novel of the same name, written by Keiso and illustrated by Kureta, published by Japanese publisher KADOKAWA in September 2019.
Synopsis of the anime Ishura Light
Following the demise of the Demon King, a multitude of demigods, each more powerful than the next, inherited the world.
Among them: a master swordsman capable of eliminating his opponents with a single blow, a spearman as fast as lightning, a wyvern able to wield three legendary weapons at once, an all-powerful wizard endowed with the ability to give life to his own thoughts, or even an assassin, who is said to be able to kill instantly.
In order to determine which of them deserves to obtain the title of “true hero“, a great battle begins between these champions, who must each take up challenges against formidable opponents!
Between internal conflicts and bloody clashes at the dawn of a new era, the time has come to define who is truly the most powerful of fighters.
